The 10th International Avanos Applied Ceramic Symposium (UAUSS 2018), organized with the contributions of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Avanos Ceramic Application and Research Center (ASEM), Avanos District Governorship and Avanos Municipality, was opened with a ceramic group exhibition. South Korea, Italy, Canada, academics and artists, as well as from Turkey, NEVÜ Faculty of Fine Arts Ceramics and Glass Department, Avanos Vocational High School Handicraft Department, Avanos pottery masters and works of the artists in the exhibition. Within the scope of the exhibition, music recital of Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Music and Performing Arts took place.
3 from abroad, including Turkey 3 and 4 of Avanos pottery masters, 10 invited ceramics artist, began producing ceramic wall panels in the river areas in Avanos. After completing the produced wall ceramics, permanent works will be placed in the Avanos region. The work processes, presentations of the invited artists and the ongoing exhibition at the Güray Museum are open to all audiences until September 26, 2018.
